The Calaveras Red Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Linden Lions at 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday. Calaveras' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so Linden's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Calaveras' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Big Valley Christian by a score of 5-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Hawks.

The result came thanks to Kamryn Thornburg's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Emma Clark was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Linden, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Riverbank on Friday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Cambel Dunn tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.1 innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Millee Holguin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Linden's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Calaveras, their record now sits at 14-6-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Calaveras has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Linden struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Calaveras couldn't quite finish off Linden in their previous meeting back in April and fell 4-2. Can the Red Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
