The 6-foot-4, 327-pound defensive tackle has already graduated from
Wake Forest (N.C.) and is enrolled at national title game runner-up Clemson.
Rated the No. 3 recruit overall in the country and No. 2 defensive tackle by 247Sports, Lawrence had 91 tackles and 13 sacks in his senior season for the Cougars, who went 12-1.
Lawrence had 204 tackles in his varsity career and 28 sacks, using his superior size and strength to both bull-rush offensive linemen and run past them.
