Chatham had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Cairo-Durham Mustangs with a sharp 11-4 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.
Brayden Steltz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
