Pulaski proved they can win big last Friday (they won by eight) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hortonville Polar Bears 9-7. The Red Raiders' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Braun Wotruba, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Wotruba, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Pulaski's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Pulaski and Hortonville will both be playing Bay Port the next time they take the field. The Red Raiders will head out to face the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Polar Bears will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
