The Middletown Blue Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Middletown comes in on six and Boiling Springs on four.
Last Thursday, Middletown didn't have too much trouble with Lower Dauphin at home as they won 58-43.
Meanwhile, Boiling Springs earned a 50-43 victory over Steelton-Highspire on Friday. Given Boiling Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Steelton-Highspire is ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Boiling Springs' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brayden Richie, who scored 14 points, and Brandon Ascione, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Lucido, who scored six points.
Middletown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
