The Blair Bears suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They suffered a rough 66-46 loss at the hands of Bennington. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Blair has suffered against Bennington since January 27, 2021.
Blair's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Crayton Macholan, who scored 11 points along with three steals, and Bo Meier who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Just, who scored five points.
Bennington's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Neuverth, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Gavin Olson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Blair has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Bennington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blair will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
