After low-scoring totals in their previous four game, Foothill brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Fairmont Prep Huskies 40-12. The contest marked the Knights' most dominant win of the season.

Among those leading the charge was Lili Reid, who rushed for 32 yards and one score, and also threw for eight yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.3% of her passes. Another big playmaker for Foothill was Charley McHale, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Foothill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Maleah Paige. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Foothill has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.6 points on average over those games. As for Fairmont Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-12 win against Rosary Academy on the 13th. As for Fairmont Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against San Juan Hills on the 13th.
