Ricardson Posts Huge Game in 35-30 Loss
Kaleb Ricardson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least four passing touchdowns. He threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.1% of his passes.

David Wignot produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lake Norman Charter to the win on Friday. Wignot threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
Wignot and Lake Norman Charter have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome North Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Wignot took on the Comets, he rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 142 yards on ten of 22 attempts. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Major Leak and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Major Leak's big game helped extend Lake Norman Charter's winning streak to seven on Friday. Leak was dynamite, picking up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
SouthLake Christian Academy's probably not too fond of Leak given he always seems to get the better of them. Leak picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in August of 2023.

Another Game with at Least Two Receiving Touchdowns from Jasiah Holt
Sadly, Jasiah Holt posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead South Stanly over Mount Pleasant on Friday. Holt wasn't messing around, picking up 98 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The contest was his third straight with two or more receiving touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 61 yards.
This season, Holt has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 89.8 receiving yards per game.
