The Fort Collins Lambkins stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Prairie View 66-24 at home. The win was nothing new for Fort Collins as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Fort Collins to victory were Avery Alcaraz and Jocelyn Kramar. Alcaraz scored 17 points, while Kramar scored ten points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Penley Park, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Fort Collins' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Prairie View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Collins won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rock Canyon at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Rock Canyon is ranked tenth, while Fort Collins is ranked 16th). Prairie View won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Horizon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
