Volleyball Recap: Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Triumphs

The Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints beat the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans 3-1 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Johnson Ferry Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Laney Bentley, who had 15 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high. Lainey Montaperto also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Despite the loss, Scholars Guild Academy still got an impressive performance from Finley Robinson, who had 23 digs and one assist.
