Screven County dropped down to 6-2 on Saturday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beach Bulldogs. The contest marked the Gamecocks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Screven County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was LeVez Roper, who posted 14 points. Percy Flowers was another key player, putting up 13 points.

As for Beach, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games.

Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Liddell, who put up ten points and six assists. Liddell is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jayce Jenkins, who had six points and eight boards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Screven County will venture away from home to challenge Bryan County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beach, they will head out to square off against Long County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Blue Tide have now posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
