Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky]'s Dylan Ruff recorded the longest rushing play in 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) this season in his game against Center-Stanton last week. Ruff scampered for 70 yards on the play and finished with 193 on the day as his team defeated the Wildcats.
Taylor Zentner and Tyler Zentner provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Shiloh Christian. The connection went for 82 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Mott-Regent's dynamic duo of Zentner and Zentner proved tough for the Skyhawks to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zentner threw for 506 yards and five touchdowns and Zentner had 277 yards receiving. Jonah Honeyman helped Mott-Regent's passing attack out by catching 10 balls for 114 yards.
The Wildfire's Zentner and Zentner have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zentner has thrown for 1335 yards this season, while Zentner, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 33 catches for 722 yards. Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky]'s Ruff leads the league in rushing yards with 1114.
The marquee game in 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) this week will be the clash between Kevin Dockter's team and Parshall/White Shield. The Cougars enters the contest ranked 15th in the state, while the Braves ranks 25th.
Shiloh Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Mott-Regent, 58-50. The win marks sixth in a row for the Bart Brackin's team.
