The Granada Matadors are on the road again  on Tuesday to play the San Ramon Valley Wolves at 7:15  p.m. Both  are strolling into their  contests after big wins in their previous games.
 Granada is headed into the  match having just  posted their biggest  win since September 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  35-6 victory over Dublin on the road. Given the Matadors' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 58th, while the Gaels are ranked 495th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

 Meanwhile, San Ramon Valley had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Dons as they made off with  a  31-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven matchups by 20  points or more  so far this season.
 San Ramon Valley found their leader in underclassman  Gia Ryan, who threw for 277 yards and four touchdowns.
 San Ramon Valley's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  four times.  Kyra Hansen was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sacksherself.
 Granada has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season. As for San Ramon Valley, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Granada was able to grind out a solid  win over San Ramon Valley in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023, winning  18-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Granada since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
