It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Archbishop Curley Friars can now relate to. They took a 26-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of John Carroll on Friday. Archbishop Curley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as John Carroll apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Friday.
It was another big night for Avin Alexandre, who rushed for 319 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.5 yards per carry. Alexandre's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Archbishop Curley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for John Carroll, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Archbishop Curley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. John Carroll will face off against Concordia Prep at 2:00 p.m. on November 19th. Concordia Prep is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
