Starting off the list is Fairfield's Breckan Maran, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Maran rushed for 137 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Estil Pruitt was a major factor in West Noble's victory over Churubusco on Friday. Nobody could stop Pruitt as he rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
Churubusco's probably not too fond of Pruitt given he always seems to get the better of them. When Pruitt last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.

Blake Metzger Makes It Two for Fairfield
The second Fairfield player making an appearance here is Blake Metzger, and for good reason. He rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
If history really does repeat itself, Metzger might just drop another big game when he faces off against Churubusco on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Metzger saw the Eagles), he rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry.
