Poway won the last time they faced Carlsbad and things went their way on Saturday too. Poway blew past Carlsbad 14-1. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Poway's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carlsbad, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
