Millard is 9-1 against Milford since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Millard is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Beaver just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Beavers, falling 21-11.

Maren Davies stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in four or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jansie Chlarson, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Milford entered their tilt with Monticello two weeks ago with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Buckaroo get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Miley Willden was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Willden was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mckinlee Curtis, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Karsydi Vetsch also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Milford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .421 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Milford's record now sits at 11-4. As for Millard, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Millard hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've averaged .445. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Millard's way against Milford in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Millard made off with a 21-7 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
