Durfee is 1-9 against Attleboro since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Durfee Hilltoppers will head out on the road to face off against the Attleboro Bombardiers at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Durfee's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Durfee pushed their score all the way to 67 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Somerset Berkley Regional by a score of 70-67.
Meanwhile, Attleboro had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mansfield on Tuesday.
Durfee's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1. As for Attleboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Durfee strolled past Attleboro when the teams last played back in February by a score of 58-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Durfee since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
