The Sparta Academy Warriors lost against the Fort Dale Academy Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Sparta Academy took a serious blow against Fort Dale Academy, falling 63-31. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sparta Academy in their matchups with Fort Dale Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jud Robinson, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds. Brodie Fowler was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 10 rebounds.
Sparta Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Fort Dale Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Sparta Academy will head out on the road to face off against Escambia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Escambia Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Fort Dale Academy, they will be playing at home against Snook Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Snook Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Fort Dale Academy is ranked 178th).
