The Sun Prairie West Wolves will challenge the Verona Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Thursday, Sun Prairie West made easy work of Madison West and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Regents recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
One reason for the win was Sun Prairie West's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Sun Prairie West can attribute much of their success to Aspen Bollans, who had four aces and three digs, and Jillian Kessler, who had four digs and three aces. Those four aces gave Bollans a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: Sun Prairie West was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They are a perfect 7-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Verona duked it out with Sun Prairie East on Thursday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cardinals.
Verona got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 31-29.
Sun Prairie West's victory bumped their record up to 20-14. As for Verona, their win bumped their record up to 26-5.
Sun Prairie West suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Verona when the teams last played back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wildcats' Anna Haines, who had 21 assists and 14 digs. Now that the Wolves know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
