Berean Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Arizona Cultural Academy as Berean Academy made off with a 48-25 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Berean Academy has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Tri-City Christian Academy put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Imagine Prep Coolidge 38-4 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Tri-City Christian Academy who now have four in a row.
Tri-City Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Allison Phillips led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Danee Haney, who scored seven points along with four steals.
The victory got Berean Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Tri-City Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Berean Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Tri-City Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 28-22 win.
