Waldron faced Tri-State Crusaders in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mohawks snuck past the King's Crusaders with a 22-16 win. Those 22 points were actually the fewest the Mohawks have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Although Tri-State Crusaders took the loss, they still got scores from Donovan Sproul and Kylen Zimmerman.

Waldron pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points on average over those games. As for Tri-State Crusaders, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1.
