The McCool Junction Mustangs will head out to face off against the Mead Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McCool Junction is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 42.5 points per game this season.

Mead will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: McCool Junction extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Mustangs walked away with a 30-22 win over East Butler.

McCool Junction can attribute much of their success to Carson McDonald, who threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and Colby Yates, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mead, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Centennial with a sharp 48-22 victory on Friday. That 26 point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

McCool Junction better keep an eye on Mason Reed. He was instrumental in Mead's win, rushing for 84 yards and three TDs on only eight carries, while also throwing for 102 yards and one touchdown. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Reed a new career-high.

Mead's run defense was locked in: Centennial could only muster two yards per carry. The team can thank Abram Lee for the heroic effort on defense: he. Mead didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.4.
