Freeman's loss came despite strong showings from Ashlin Jacobsen and Rylee Peters. Jacobsen scored 18 points, while Peters scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton McCune, who scored nine points.
Paige Kjerstad continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wall, almost dropping a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kjerstad has scored all season. Nora Dinger was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Freeman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-5 record this season. As for Wall, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will take on Ethan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wall, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Philip at 7:30 p.m. Wall has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 694 points over their last ten contests.
