Bellefonte moved up to 435 from 543 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mountain. A 50-14 win over the Raiders helped the Raiders improve their standing.
Clearfield extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Huntingdon, 41-24. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Bison.
Clearfield's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christian Lezzer threw for 136 and four touchdowns and Trey Jordan had 136 yards receiving. On the ground Tyler Stratton chipped in 164 yards.
Clearfield's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bison feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lezzer has thrown for 505 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Jordan has 15 catches for 423 yards. Stratton leads the league in rushing with 441 yards.
A big matchup in Mountain this week will be when Bald Eagle Area takes on Central. The Bald Eagles are in second place, while the Dragons are in third place.
Bald Eagle Area and Chestnut Ridge played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Bald Eagle Area eventually emerging with a 28-26 victory.
