Mallory Kohnen Game Report: @ Steeleville

New Athens was sadly handed a loss on Tuesday, but Mallory Kohnen did her best to prevent it. Kohnen tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) she has had since back in March of 2024.

Kohnen and New Athens will take on Valmeyer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
