 Lucas Engel made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Drew Kafka was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
Meanwhile, Dedham lost  12-2 to Westwood on Monday.
 Dedham saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jimmy Doyle, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  RBI.
 Holliston pushed their record up to 12-6 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Dedham, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
 Holliston was able to grind out a solid  win over Dedham in their previous meeting  back in April, winning  5-1. Do  the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marauders turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
