On Friday Pennsauken take on Cumberland at 6:00 PM. Pennsauken have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Last Friday, Pennsauken came up short against Cherry Hill West, falling 13-23. The loss shouldn't obscure the performances of junior Deswa Evans, who threw 2 TDs and picked up 47 yards on the ground, and senior Darrien Tabb, who caught passes for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Cumberland lost to Seneca by a decisive 21-39 margin. Cumberland were down by 6-39 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
