Surry Central had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Mount Airy Granite Bears. The game was the first time the Golden Eagles have beaten the Granite Bears on their field since April 25, 2018.
