The Warner Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 44-34 to Ocean View Christian. The game was a 16-16 toss-up at halftime, but Warner was blown out by Ocean View Christian in the second.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Omar Acosta, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. Antonio Amado was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Warner's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ocean View Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Warner will be playing at home against Horizon Prep on Friday. Ocean View Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bayfront Charter at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st. Bayfront Charter will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
