The Shea Raiders had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Chariho with a sharp 55-35 win. Shea has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shea will take on Coventry at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Coventry will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Rhode Island Rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Shea is ranked fourth). As for Chariho, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tiverton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
