Travelers Rest will challenge Berea on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Travelers Rest don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Travelers Rest put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their contest against Blue Ridge by a conclusive 43-18 score. Junior Wilson Hendricks was the offensive standout of the match for Travelers Rest, as he rushed for 123 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hendricks has now scored at least one touchdown in the past nine games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Berea, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were dealt a punishing 13-54 loss at the hands of Greenville. Berea were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-40.
Travelers Rest's win lifted them to 6-3 while Berea's defeat dropped them down to 1-8. We'll see if Travelers Rest can repeat their recent success or if Berea bounce back and reverse their fortune.
