Evans entered their tilt with Effingham County on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Effingham County Rebels 55-35. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Evans' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Briyanna Jones led the charge by going 6 of 13 en route to 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Jones is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Chabria Tate, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 19 points and five boards.

Evans smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in 16 consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Effingham County lost, don't look at Nakera M Hawkins. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyjana Jordan, who posted eight points.

Evans' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Effingham County, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Greenbrier the next time they take the court. Effingham County will host Greenbrier at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Evans will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
