 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Arianna Suarez Moura, who  had 25  digs and two  kills. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Tou, who  had nine  digs, two  kills,  and two  kills.
 Meanwhile, Amity Regional came tearing into  Monday's  game with eight straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against Sacred Heart Academy as they made off with  a  3-0 victory.
 Amity Regional never let Sacred Heart Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the 0th set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-14,  25-21.
 Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Amity Regional, their win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-1.
 Shelton suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Amity Regional  in their previous matchup  on September 5th. Can Shelton avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
