Chinle is a perfect 10-0 against Ganado since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Wildcats will host the Hornets at 9:00 a.m. Chinle will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Chinle proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 14) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Page 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since March 24th.

Kennon Sorrell and Hage Tsosie made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Sorrell tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Tsosie struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). Sorrell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. At bat, Sorrell went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Tsosie went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt James, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Ganado got the win against Window Rock on Friday by a conclusive 11-4. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Chinle pushed their record up to 16-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ganado, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Chinle took their win against Ganado when the teams last played last Wednesday by a conclusive 17-3 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
