Eli Poteet Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Augusta Eagles got the W thanks in part to Eli Poteet playing the best football he has all season. Poteet rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 85 yards.
Poteet is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Victory Christian on Friday. Poteet rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and Victory Christian duked it out back in October of 2023.

Coastal HomeSchool was led to victory by Colin Wood, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Wood threw for 277 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 89.5% of his passes. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 3.2 passing touchdowns per game. What's more, he also racked up 15 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in October of 2023.
