Northwestern dropped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Mercyhurst Prep, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Northwestern was dealt a bruising 65-30 loss at the hands of Mercyhurst Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mercyhurst Prep's Jeremy Ganska, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
