This season hasn't been kind to the Chagrin Falls Tigers, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. The match between Chagrin Falls and Orange wasn't particularly close, with Chagrin Falls falling 62-47. Chagrin Falls was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Orange apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Kay, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ozzy DiFranco, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Ernie Pryor was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 13 rebounds for Orange. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Dominic Anekwe, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Chagrin Falls' defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Orange, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Chagrin Falls will head out on the road to face off against Twinsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Twinsburg is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Orange is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Avon Lake at 3:00 p.m. on December 27th.
