New Bloomfield waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Fayette Falcons as they made off with a 9-3 win. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

New Bloomfield's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fayette, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, New Bloomfield will take on Montgomery County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so New Bloomfield's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fayette, they will face off against Glasgow at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
