St. John's Prep barely beat Haverhill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Hillies 8-0 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win got St. John's Prep back to even at 3-3. As for Haverhill, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, St. John's Prep will head out to square off against Needham at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Haverhill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Billerica Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
