In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They really took it to Bethel Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-23 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Tri-Cities Christian sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-Cities Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faith Greene, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Greene has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Michaela Dixon was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
Tri-Cities Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Tri-Cities Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against University at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Tri-Cities Christian's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while University has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road. Bethel Christian Academy is on the road again on Monday and plays Independent Athletic Ministries at 6:30 p.m. on February 12th.
