Miller Grove got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kamiya Moore out in front who went 6 for 15 on her way to 14 points in addition to six assists and five boards. The dominant performance gave Moore a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Nariah Cato, who posted 11 points and three steals.
Meanwhile, Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 31-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Drew Charter.
Salem's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Miller Grove, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
