  Ean Bedsaul made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Bedsaul was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Kai Twaites was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Justus Schmidt, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Grandview's offense. They suffered a  rough 11-0 defeat at the hands of Othello  on Saturday.
 Ellensburg's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-6. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Ellensburg took their  victory against Grandview  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  12-0. Will Ellensburg repeat their success,  or does  Grandview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
