Grafton is a perfect 4-0 against Trinity Christian since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bearcats will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Grafton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Grafton took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Lewis County get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Chelsea Mauller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

Grafton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewis County struck out 13 times.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-15 heartbreaker at the hands of Fairmont Senior.

Trinity Christian got a massive performance out of Josalyn Phillips, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Marlo Flecker was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI and one run.

Grafton's win bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Grafton took their victory against Trinity Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Bearcats repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
