Last Thursday, Harry S. Truman came up short against Pennsbury and fell 39-31. While losing is never fun, Harry S. Truman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while Pennsbury is ranked 26th).
Meanwhile, Neshaminy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 win over Upper Merion Area on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neshaminy.
It was another big night for Nate Townsend, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Townsend set a new season high mark in assists with six. Another player making a difference was Max Currie, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Harry S. Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Neshaminy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Harry S. Truman took a serious blow against Neshaminy in their previous matchup back in January, falling 61-33. Can Harry S. Truman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
