Max Corona put up the most RBI he's had since back in April of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of McLane's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-8 when he doesn't).

Corona's strong effort led McLane over Roosevelt and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Highlanders are a perfect 10-0 against the Rough Riders going back to June of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
