Everything went Harrisburg's way against Mountain View on Friday as they made off with a 28-0 win. Harrisburg were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Senior Jett Jackson was the offensive standout of the match for Harrisburg, as he rushed for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Ray Michael Jones, who racked up 9 tackles.
The victory bumped Harrisburg's record up to 2-1. Mountain View are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Harrisburg will stay at home next week against Corning at 7:00 PM. Mountain View will look to defend their home turf against Cedar Ridge at 7:00 PM. Cedar Ridge also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their previous contest, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
