Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only John Paul the Great Academy walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Acadiana Christian Lions on Saturday as they made off with a 38-14 victory. Fans of the Guardians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

John Paul the Great Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Charpentier, who rushed for 77 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 14 yards and one TD. Another back making a difference was Riley Lormand, who gained 127 total yards and a touchdown.

John Paul the Great Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Acadiana Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

As of now, neither John Paul the Great Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
