St. Mary's Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Knueper, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Knueper pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Moats, who scored two points along with four steals.
St. Mary's Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Oskaloosa, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
St. Mary's Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Atchison County at 11:00 a.m. on January 20th. Atchison County comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Oskaloosa's road trip will continue as they head out to face Jackson Heights on January 23rd. Jackson Heights will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
