The Seminole County Indians can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They breezed by Mitchell County on the road to the tune of 57-21. With Seminole County ahead 34-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seminole County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zyi'kiera King, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Tiara Henry, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Seminole County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Mitchell County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole County and the Cougars will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Mitchell County, they will play host again and welcome the Greenwave, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terrell County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.
